Emma Mulholland

Microbiology graduate student

I am interested in studying the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria with high-throughput screening techniques and microscopy. Before joining the Brun lab, I completed my undergraduate and master’s degrees at McMaster University, where I studied genetic regulation in Streptomyces bacteria. I’ve also spent time working in policy research and in science education. Outside of the lab I enjoy hiking, reading, and playing board games.
