I’m interested in understanding the functional mechanisms of multi-component bacterial nanomachines, with a current focus on the Tad pilus machinery of Caulobacter crescentus. Prior to joining the Brun lab in January 2020, I completed my Ph.D. in biochemistry at the University of Toronto studying the biosynthesis of biofilm exopolysaccharides by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus cereus. Outside of the lab I’m a bit of a true crime nut and spend my time absorbing any books, TV shows, or podcasts on the subject
