Sukanya Chakraborty

Postdoctoral Fellow

I am always curious about the clever tricks that seemingly simple unicellular organisms use to survive. During my PhD at IISER Pune, I explored how Myxococcus xanthus flip their polarity to move. Now, I will focus on Caulobacter crescentus, solving the mysteries of its super-sticky holdfast! When I am not in the lab, you will find me jamming on my ukulele, singing, or exploring new flavours from around the world.
